Not a bad crib when the mattress is not on the bottom as the drop side parts can go up and down fairly easy But when the mattress is on the bottom it s extremely difficult to drop the rail Found that if you loosen the bottom bolts a little bit on the side where the drop side it it makes it easier to drop the rail You can t over tighten those bolts on the bottom or it is impossible to drop the rail
Crib has held up fairly well after being taken apart 2 times to be moved to different rooms
Thought this converts to a toddler bed but can t seem to find the part makes it convert to a toddler bed

I m sorry to hear that the others have had such a bad experience with this crib We ve had this crib in tea stain for two years and have had no problems It has withstood my son which says a lot As I type he s kicking the living daylights out of the sides Lots of energy The only reason I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5 is because it s difficult to drop the side down when the mattress is in the lowest position That being said now that our child is old enough to have the mattress all the way down we don t drop it very often anyway We have another child now and the two year old wants nothing to do with his toddler bed so we need another crib We re getting another one of these
