I just recieved this crib I ve taken one look at it and am sending it back It looks really cheap The spindles are very thin and are not stiff It wouldn t take much at all to break them It might look better in white but the cherry finish just screams I am a cheap crib And by that I don t just mean looks but am worried about the safety durability I really wanted a Jenny Lind but I guess I ll have to settle for some other style

The crib is not worth your money My 7 month old daughter somehow managed to break the slats in half and fall through the bars Her poor little head was wedged between the slats when I came into her room after hearing her terrified screams The slats broke into sharp spears that could have been very dangerous When I called the company to report this incident they offered to send a replacement part I cannot believe that any parent would be able to put their baby to sleep in the same crib after an incident like this and the to think a replacement part might be an adequate solution is ridiculous Please purchase a different crib If my normal sized normal strength 7 month old can break this crib then it is not safe for any baby

I wanted this crib so badly and everywhere was out of stock I finally found it on amazon and I am so glad I did It is so cute in our daughters nursery It totally fits in with our antique/shabby chic theme I would recommend this crib to anyone interested
