We received the crib with a damaged part After contacting the manufacturer directly their auto reply email says they will respond within 48 hours which would have been a Tuesday Not true I had to email a second time and eventually received a response on Friday with this quoted one line response Thanks for contacting Lajobi I will be placing an order for the Right crib end bottom which will ship FEDEX in 3 business days Thanks and sorry for the delay in responding It was truly a mystery when I could expect my replacement piece but it did arrive in good condition Aside from the fact that it was definitely made in a different lot as the color was ever so slightly different and wasn t sanded down as well as the original package On another note putting the crib together was extremely easy I m 9 months pregnant and did it myself out of boredom If I had to purchase a crib all over again I would definitely spend an extra 100 200 for better quality

Consumer reports list this crib as 2nd best under a 900 first choice We ordered it on line and it came well packed without any broken or damaged parts My husband and dad put it together in a little more than 1 hour and it seems to be great No baby in it yet Seems quite sturdy and it has a metal coil bottom it is a good sign of quality The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the sides have not plastic covering etc to protect it from bite marks etc Our previous crib which was damaged in a move came with great plastic covers to protect the sides So we have bought fabric covers for the sides and the ends
