No problem with packaging like some reviewers commented Box arrived in great shape crib inside was also in good shape some scuffing but only on the side that sits against the wall so not a problem for me I didn t have any problem with the directions or assembly Very straightforward Wouldn t have taken very long to put up but my two year old was helping Drop rail slides great and is very convenient Mattress at highest setting is a good height thought I wouldn t mind it being a bit higher I ordered the pine which to me is a very light color this is more of a maple in my opinion

My husband builds furniture as a hobby and he was really impressed with how well this crib is built We previously owned a Storkcraft crib and the difference between the two was substantial The wood is a bit more reddish and dark than it appears in the picture more like you would imagine cherry I guess Ours arrived in perfect condition and we didn t even need the instructions to assemble it

I was really pleased with it Love everything about it The knee drop down side is great when the baby is sleeping in your arms and you me are too short to lift the baby over the rails It wasn t that hard to put together either about 1 hour I would recommend this crib to everyone
