The crib made it here faster than expected and was really easy to put together The last few steps did take two of us to do kind of awkward The espresso was a nice dark finish We also bought a dresser from a furniture store in an espresso finish and it matched perfectly Trying to find a stain color for baby s book shelf is difficult though and we cannot find the right shade at the hardware store We did notice a few spots where the wood was dented prior to being stained We thought at first that it must be from shipping but there was no cracks at all in the finish so it must have been before hand Overall the crib seems really sturdy and the bottom is easy to adjust We can t wait for baby to get here and try it out
