I ordered this crib in the Antique Black finish and it is exactly what you d expect it to be it s DISTRESSED not SCRATCHED There is not so much distressing that it needs to be paired with vintage looking crib bedding or anything it s just enough to look pretty This crib is very sturdy and the finish seems really durable The black DaVinci that I saw at Target could literally be gouged with a fingernail so good luck once your baby is teething The wood used in this crib is harder so it is of course more durable

My husband was able to put this together with the help of my 11 year old son in less than an hour and he is not handy at all Also good to know is that a standard crib mattress fits perfectly into it no gaps I had read another review of this crib somewhere that swore there was a giant gap around the whole thing but we did not find that to be true at all Another good thing to know is that it does come with the toddler bed rails but not with the rails to use it as a headboard/footboard There are three different mattress positions and we decided to start the baby on the middle one The first hole is pretty high and you would need to lower it pretty quickly once the baby was a few months old

I got this item when it was around 209 which is about 40 less than it usually goes for That is the only reason I am not going to complain about the scratches I read the reviews so I knew there was a chance that there would be scratches if I got the black crib I did anyway Otherwise it looks great it s sturdy and roomy Overall we love it The company just needs to rethink the packaging

This is a good crib We had to buy a new crib for our third child because we lost the hardware to our other crib in a move The Delta crib is sturdy and was VERY easy to put together probably 20 minutes However the product description says one hand raise and lower and teething rail cover included It does NOT have a side that raises and lowers and did not come with a teething rail cover Other than that it is very nice

I bought this crib for my daughter and absolutely love it It is beautiful sturdy it had a great price with it When it arrived it was in a very large heavy package but that is to be expected We put it together very quickly and had no problems with it There was one tiny dent in it but I just imagine that is from transferring There is nothing bad i can say about this product

We are expecting in a few months so this review addresses the crib s quality and ease of assembly not actual use yet The crib arrived undamaged and was extremely simple to put together It took less than an hour and there were no problems with any of the parts The wood actually looks even nicer than I had expected based on the customer pictures online The color is not as dark as the manufacturer picture but is still a very pretty espresso not chocolate or black

The best thing about this crib is the small footprint We have a small nursery and were concerned about how big most cribs are We want baby to be comfortable and safe but we didn t want an enormous crib that would dominate the room We are very happy with the low profile of this crib It fits perfectly looks great and seems of solid construction Looking forward to using it soon

I actually had this crib delivered twice and returned twice The first time the box had a large rip on its side almost as if a fork lift decided to go through the middle instead of underneath The crib had a large scratch across the headboard and we decided to return it The customer support was very nice and sent us a new crib which upon further inspection also had various scratches due to shipping

I don t know if it is the shipping company or the factory but we decided to go with a different crib from a local retailer The box weights alot and is a bulky shape

First off just want to note that this does NOT come with a mattress At first glance the product information section seems to indicate that this crib comes with a mattress This is not correct The product information is referring to the fact that you can raise and lower the spring that holds the mattress to suit your and your child s needs as they grow Other reviewers also mentioned the quality of the mattress that may have come with this item at some point in the past leading me to believe that I just might have to supplement Not so No mattress whatsoever comes with this crib After putting it together I spent another 70 buying a mattress on Amazon com We had planned to supplement the mattress with a higher quality one after reading reviews that said the mattress that came with the crib was acceptable but too thin instead we had to fork over a little more money than we had planned to purchase one altogether

The last reason I did not give this item four or five stars and it is awfully lovely is the fact that the color is so significantly different from the color of the changing table that is supposed to match I double and triple checked but am absolutely positive that I ordered both the changing table and the crib in an oak finish The changing table is more like a dark pine color which is fine by me and the crib is more like a cross between a traditional oak color and a cherry I realize that it won t be a perfect match and there are bound to be differences but this is a rather significant difference in color It honestly looks like I got matching pieces in different finishes

My son has been sleeping in this crib for 18 months now I love it It s beautiful and it s still as sturdy and well built as the day we put it together I also love that it includes the side rail to convert to a toddler bed I m looking forward to him sleeping in this bed for at least another year or two

I only have one complaint The side pieces aren t labeled left/right The directions were okay but it would be a huge help if they would label the pieces on the underside so you know which one goes on which side At first I put the side rails backward and scuffed the wood I obsessed about those scuffs for a few days but no one but other than me ever noticed them

Overall this is a fantastic crib at an even better price and I would definitely buy it again

This is a decent crib with alot of room for growth Assembly was fairly straight forward the only complaint I would have is the mattress frame install is awkward The only other major gripe I would have is that the materials its comprised of doesn t seem solid quality

I too bought this for all the same reasons It is the number 2 safest crib on the Consumer Reports List for all the safety ratings which is the most important and it s the cheapest and has free shipping You can t beat that Plus you can t find the crib anywhere My daughter is now 11 months old and is still sleeping in it and we bought it in white She is sleeping in the crib at the lowest setting now The crib arrived in about 3 weeks but arrived all scratched up with several paint chips missing The crib scratches really easily so I would maybe recommend maybe a different color other than white or keep extra white paint on hand The crib is relatively easily to put together and can be done in less than 30 minutes Also the crib is very sturdy If I could make one suggestion it would be not to purchase the Da Vinci mattress I have found that the mattress is too soft and that my daughter who is small for her age has easily made a head indentation in the mattress already and she often switches sides of the bed which says alot about the firmness of the mattress which brings up my concern about SIDS If in less than a year she is already making indentations in the mattress and had done so months ago I am not sure about the quality and firmness of the mattress

My husband and I love the modern look of the Scandi line That was pretty much the only reason we purchased this set Overall the furniture is poorly made The drawer is difficult to open and gets stuck at times The drop side rail cracked after three or four months of use Three months after that it completely broke apart in the same area so now we don t have a drop side crib Luckily my son didn t fall out of his crib since the railing fell down while he was sleeping and I didn t realize it until after he had already woke up I contacted La Jobi and they are offering me a new crib in a different style since the Scandi is discontinued However I don t like either of the cribs they are offering and neither has a drop side rail which I need since I m pregnant and it s really hard to bend over the railing while holding my son This set was supposed to last through all three of our planned children but now I m going to have a completely mismatched nursery and baby 2 hasn t even arrived yet Overall I m majorly regretting ever getting this and wish we had forked over the extra money to get something of better quality
